Course Description

The Diploma in Back-End Web Development is a 4-month hands-on program designed to introduce learners to the server side of web development — where logic, data, and security meet.

Students will learn how to set up servers, build APIs, connect databases, and deploy functional applications using Node.js, Express, and MongoDB — the foundations of the modern web stack.

By the end of the course, students will have built a complete full-stack web app that connects their front-end projects to a real database.

Learning Outcomes

Students will be able to:

  • Understand how client-server communication works
  • Build and run local servers with Node.js
  • Use Express to create dynamic web APIs
  • Store and retrieve data from MongoDB
  • Implement basic authentication and validation
